The company was founded in 1934 by Dario Giuseppe Squeri, who founded the first factory in Ciriano. Carlo Squeri, son of Dario Giuseppe, in 1953 acquired the S.C.A.C company and the “Due Fagiani” brand. From the 1980s onwards, the company, in the hands of Dario Squeri, specialized in pulp and in 1992 moved to Gragnano, changing its name to Steriltom srl.
Today Steriltom is a European leader specialized in the production and marketing of tomato pulp for industrial and Ho.Re.Ca channels and was the first company to introduce the Bag in Box format on the tomato market. In 2018, with the acquisition of the new plant in the province of Ferrara and the creation of the new company “Italtom”, Steriltom processes over 300,000 tons of fresh tomatoes and offers further tomato derivatives such as diced tomato, puree and tomato concentrate.
Steriltom is currently present in over 80 countries around the world and collaborates with over 700 customers.
