The wine venture can lead through different situations, to know different people, to face different opportunities, and can also be at the very basis of successful meeting such as the one occurred in 1882 to Achille Ferrari, a carpenter specialized in wine barrel making, and Antonio Perini, young farmer and wine grower from Val d’Arda.
This story begins with a meeting that took place back in 1882 between Achille Ferrari, a carpenter and expert cooper, and Antonio Perini, a young farmer and winemaker from the Val d’Arda. Their enthusiasm in producing wine transformed this occasional collaboration into a real wine vocation which, enhanced by passion, was transferred from generation to generation with ever greater commitment and professionalism.
To their respective sons, Renato and Guido, the task of ferrying the business through the two wars. To the grandchildren Marisa, Francesco, Delfino, Emilio, Bernardo, consolidate and enlarge it. And today the reins to the great-grandchildren Paolo, Massimo and Stefano, able to lead it with professionalism and passion into the new millennium.
