The Polenghi Group comprises 3 production units in Europe: 1 in Italy, specialising in the production and packaging of lemon juice, sorbet and condiments; 1 in France, focusing on the development of innovative concepts for preparations and condiments with the aerosol system; 1 in Belgium, significantly developed to product Belgian chocolate specialities.
Polenghi exports to more than 50 countries, and is the market leader in some of them, producing more than 95 million pieces per year. Over time, the company has expanded from areas in Europe to America, the Far East, Australia and Arab countries.
Production
Polenghi is specialised in the production of:
• Lemon Juice: available in a wide range of recipes and sizes.
• Sorbet: fresh desserts with lemon, fruits and coffee taste, available in different sizes.
• Fruit drinks, natural juices, craft beers with different fragrances.
• Condiments: flavoured oils , balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce, available in different sizes.
• Exclusive lemon specialties: a selection of products made with Sicilian lemons according to the best traditions.
• Product lines for industry: single-doses, available in different sizes/references; lemon juice in large sizes.
Polenghi controls all the production chain from the harvest and selection of raw material, till the sale of the finish product on the market. The main objective is to create innovative products in order to satisfy the modern consumer needs.
Significant activities also involving packaging, are carried out by a qualified company team which, in collaboration with the most important research centres, has finalised a completely biodegradable Bio Bottle. The product is a patented model.
Particular attention is given to the control of finished products: Biological Control and Quality System certified by external agencies and organisations: UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008, BRC, IFS, KOSHER, ORGANIC (EU, NOP, JAS) all ensure that products are monitored in all processing stages and even after the production stage.
These important certifications are synonymous with excellence.
Polenghi supports an ethical and responsible approach through low-impact environmental strategies by working in “natural” way and help improve the world.
The decision to install a photovoltaic system for auto-generation of electricity from renewable sources makes it possible to convert solar energy into electricity through the photovoltaic effect. This reduces CO2 emissions into the environment, demonstrating social responsibility and valorising the company’s choices and decisions.
