Luretta is located in Momeliano Castle in Val Luretta, an area of Colli Piacentini, about 200 m. above sea level.
The farm is entirely cultivated according to the criteria of organic agriculture and is supervised by I.C.E.A./A.I.A.B.(Association of Italian organic farming).
Production
The first production of the company dates back to 1983; since then Luretta has achieved important national and international awards. It currently produces about 230,000 bottles of wine with important Italian quality assurances: DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) and IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica).
During the period of aging the wines are kept in oak barrels of Allier, which are located in the cellars of the Momeliano Castle.
