Already in the sixteenth century the territory surrounding the Il Poggiarello farm was known and appreciated for the quality of its wines, whose characteristics came from the limited production, forerunner of the techniques that are used today in the vineyard.
The passion and love for wine, which have marked the history of the families, are the basis of the reasons that led them to undertake this adventure in the eighties.
The search for a place capable of combining natural beauty with a quality wine vocation led them to Val Trebbia, one of the most evocative valleys of the Emilian Apennines. In these ideal and serene spaces, you are accompanied to discover the flavors and aromas of an always excellent production.
The spirit that animates the company is to guarantee each bottle a history and individual care.
Production
Aware that good wine “is made in the vineyard”, this is where much of the work is concentrated: the farming systems, the management of the soil, the vegetative containment, the thinning of the bunches and the strictly manual harvesting, aim at a of sure quality.
