The CO.P.A.P., Cooperative Producers of Aglio Piacentino, was founded in 1976 and works to guarantee the excellence of a precious bulb with a unique and enveloping flavor: the White Garlic of Piacenza. 100% Italian with an Emilian heart, traceable, certified and quality controlled (QC of Emilia Romagna), the Piacenza White Garlic has its roots in the Monticelli d’Ongina area (PC). The Piacenza area around Monticelli d’Ongina is the only producer in Italy of Piacenza White Garlic, registered in the Register of Varieties with the denomination of Ottolini garlic and Serena garlic.
Defined by experts as “white gold”, it is highly appreciated by both domestic and foreign growers and consumers.
For some years now, Piacenza White Garlic has also been organic, a further demonstration of attention to consumers.
The CO.P.A.P. has always protected and improved the production of this exclusive local variety, with the aim of maintaining the typicality, tradition and unmistakable flavor of the products processed as they once were.
The Genuina Family CO.P.A.P., includes, in addition to Piacenza White Garlic, also Onions in three varieties (red, white and golden) and Shallot, typical of the Piacenza area.
