C.I.O. Consorzio Interregionale ortofrutticoli is the most important Association of Growers’ Organisations (A.O.P.) in Europe in the tomato processing sector. It was created by four big Growers’ Organisations (O.P.) from the North of Italy to improve the tomato processing industrial activity and to protect the farmers. The main objective of C.I.O. is to monitor the whole food chain, from the seed to the finished product, in order to ensure the best quality. To do so, C.I.O. has developed a series of severe processing parameters:

With over 1.100 farmers and 3 big processing industries, our Consortium ensures maximun care for customer’s need. C.I.O. offers a full range of tomato products: tomato paste, chopped and diced tomatoes, tomato sauces, ready sauces and “tailor-made” products. Different type of packagings are also available: from bulk products to retail sizes.
