Marengoni winery was born in the early XIX century, when great grandfather Silvio returned to Italy from America: he rented a farm and some land near Ponte dell’Olio, on the hills of the Nure valley, and started growing vines.
The winery has grown, generation by generation, combining vine-growing activity and traditional farming. In 1980 Silvio Marengoni and his wife Adele purchased the farm “Casa Bianca” and with the help of their sons, Lino and Flavio, started the production of typical DOC (Controlled designation of origin) wines of Colli piacentini (Piacenza hills).
Since then, the Marengoni company has stood out for its range of quality wines and for its family commitment.
