The Consortium “Piacenza Alimentare” promotes, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Piacenza and Unioncamere Emilia Romagna, the project “Deliziando” in south America.
The objective of the specific agreement with the chain “Supermercados Peruanos” is to find agri-food products to be introduced in its outlets.
In order to better understand the characteristics and the importance of this chain, here you can find some key data about its activities:
Supermercados Peruanos S.A. (www.supermercadosperuanos.com.pe) is part of the Peruvian group Interbank. SPSA operates in the market with two different labels: VIVANDA (www.vivanda.com.pe), which has a medium-high product target, and PLAZA VEA (www.plazavea.com.pe) which deals with a lower-end market. This group has 103 outlets in Peru and 8 of them are Vivanda. In 2014 its income was $1,300 millions ($ 40 millions gained thanks to import products).
The products SPSA is interested in and that can be provided by our members are the following:
- tomato sauces
- fruit juices
- cheeses (Grana padano and Provolone)
- Prosciutto di Parma (parma ham) and San Daniele
Applying – to be done strictly by 5 August 2015 – is free; only selected companies for a first contract will be asked for a contribution up to € 300 + VAT.
