Some associate companies took part in the Internation Food Show MIA in Rimini which closed its gates a few days ago. This exhibition is the most important in Italy for the catering sector and is a not-to-be-missed appointment for those who are interested not only in food and beverage, but also in the latest trends of in eating out and large-scale distribution. Overall, almost 1,500 companies (exhibiting directly and represented) occupied something like 100,000 m2 of the Rimini Expo Centre. The expos were attended by a total of 82,977 trade visitors (5.5% less than 2008), of whom 2,832 were from abroad (Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Russian federation, Sweden).
The first two days of the exhibition were a bit "slow" and not very crowded, but during the following days many professional operators visited our stands and showed their interest in displayed products.
Mr. Sante Ludovico (La Pizza + 1 S.r.l.) expressed his overall satisfaction for the results obtained thanks to their peesence at MIA.
