As part of the initiatives related to EXPO, the Consortium promotes the participation in the project “L’Emilia-Romagna in Viaggio verso Expo ” (Emilia-Romagna in its way to Expo), which was conceived by CheftoChef and raised the interest of the Emilia-Romagna Region, APT services and the Italian Touring Club. Moreover, this project is under the patronage of Expo.
The project lasts from mid-August all the way to mid-September. It will take place along the three water routes (the Adriatic Sea and the Po River), the Via Emilia and the Alta Via dei Parchi: there will be more than thirty events for the promotion of our region’s agricultural heritage and you can be the protagonists!
To better explain the project, we attach the press release of the presentation which took place a few days ago in Milan.
The Consortium has been offered the opportunity to be a partner of the project by purchasing one of the 40 FoodValleyBikes (see photo attached) which will pass through Via Emilia and pause at its main squares.
For each stage, on the platform of the bike it will be possible to organize tasting and sell products, according to the usual tax rules.
As the attached release explains, if the company has some problems, in some of the stages the coverage of the station will be guaranteed by the organization, but only with some promotion activity and so without tasting and sales. Participating companies will enjoy a high profile, with the ability to put their products in the menus of dinners organized aboard ferries in the waterways of the project. In that case the manufacturer will be invited to dinner in order to talk about his product.
The bike will obviously be customized with your logo, which will also appear on the means of communication prepared for the initiative.
The trip will end with a big event in Milan, on September 21, where the FoodValleyBikes will be on display together with the products of the companies, in the “Orti di Leonardo”. At the end of the project, the bike will remain available to the Consortium (and available to companies); it will be possible to use it for future promotions.
Participation is open to a maximum of 5 companies, and the fee is € 500 + VAT.
Anyone interested has to confirm his/her participation no later than Tuesday, August 4th.
