Thanks to their insight and attention to the environment the Sguazzi family immediately understood the great potential hidden in the position and terroir of I Perinelli. A perfectly preserved wine press, dating back to the 14th Century, is the evidence of the winemaking tradition of this estate; unique in dimensions and characteristics, it is now the symbol of the winery.
The meeting with Paolo, Stefano and Massimo Perini united insight and experience, technical and innovating skills: this collaboration led to the creation of a high-density vineyard (8000 plants per hectare) to produce top quality grapes.
The varietal range includes both traditional local grapes (Barbera and Bonarda to make Gutturnio, Malvasia and Ortrugo) and international varieties (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir).
