The Cooperative Company Santa Vittoria was established in 1978 in the area of Cadeo (Piacenza) and moved to Carpaneto in the late 90s. On a wide area located along the provincial road to Fiorenzuola, Santa Vittoria built a dairy plant, warehouses, offices and a retail shop.
Production
Grana Padano is Santa Vittoria’s top product; it is made from the milk supplied by the 21 members, whose livestock farms are all located in the area of Piacenza. The product range includes also butter, ricotta (fresh soft cheese) and caciotta (mild cheese), which can be purchased directly from the company outlet.
Quality is the company’s main concern, even because Grana Padano must comply with strict production standards, which ensure genuineness, taste and safety. The cooperative company regularly monitors the raw material supplied by its member and, for those who are interested, offers technical support to favour further improvemnt of milk quality.
